UPDATE: A big thanks to everyone involved in Saturday’s walk! Fortunately the weather held up, and it looks like the tea and cakes went down well too! If you were there please send any pictures you took, or tag them on our Facebook page. Thanks.
Following the success of our inaugural “walk round the Orme” last October, we thought it might be nice to do it again this year. Although it’s short notice, Saturday 18th November seems a good fit for many. This is the day before the Conwy half marathon which includes running around the Marine Drive.
As before, we will meet either at the West Shore boating pool at 11.45 or at the Happy Valley Cafe at 12.30, and continue to the Toll Gate for one of the nicest walks in North Wales. Here’s hoping the weather will be kind to us. The thought of coffee and cake at the halfway cafe should help, and then after that its downhill all the way!!
As the photo below from last year’s walk shows, we weren’t blessed with the best weather on the day. So please come prepared with waterproofs just in case!!
See you there!
