Wednesday 27th September 2017 was a big day for The Sue Moreton Foundation!

Thanks to our supporters kind donations and fundraising efforts over the past year, we are proud to report that an investment of £7,000 has kick started our first major project – the purchase and deployment of 10 Babybay Medicare cots for maternity wards at Wrexham Maelor, Glan Clwyd and Ysbyty Gwynedd hospitals.

As you’ll see from this Facebook post, new Mothers and staff at the hospitals are already enjoying using them.

In the near future we plan to write some case studies to further highlight the benefits for Mother and Baby from using the cots. We look forward to sharing these with you all soon.

We have big ambitions for the future – we plan to continue supporting our maternity units in the Betsi Cadwaladr UHB with more cots if required, and look to support other maternity wards across Wales.
