Section 12 – Glan-yr-Afon to Beaumaris (Approx. 7.5 miles)
We need to meet at 9.15 in the Beaumaris car park which is on the left hand side just past the castle. We will leave some cars there for the finish and then drive to the Glan yr afon car park. We plan to start the walk at 10am. Halfway should be at Penmon point where there is a cafe and loo.
When we did the recce in August some of the paths were lined with long grass which was quite wet. We ended up with wet jeans. If there has been any rain about, I would suggest we have waterproof trousers available!
